SUMMER FAMILY PACKAGE

Package includes:  Cottage, Boat and Motor on Herridge Lake, 1 Tank of Gas, Life Jackets & Safety Kits. FREE USE of Kayaks, Paddleboat & Games Room that has a Pool Table, various games, Big Screen T.V. & Rod Hockey Table.

Cottages are clean and all have 3 Piece Bathrooms and are Fully Equipped for cooking. Linens are supplied. Boats are 14’ to 16’ Grumman or Naden.  Motors are all Yamahas with many 2007/2008 new motors.

BONUS- INCLUDES 1 Day of Unguided Fishing on our Remote Back Lakes when staying for 1 week.

RATES

Extra boats on Herridge are at a rate of $95 per day or $595 per week. Extra Remote Lake Trips can be Arranged if Desired for $120.00 per boat & motor per day. A guided tour to our 4th Lake back can be arranged at the cost of $190 for the day. The guided trip would include a prepared shore lunch with your catch of the morning cooked on our lunch island for you and your group.

All prices quoted in Canadian Funds and are subject to change. Sales Taxes and required licenses are not included in rates.

Deposits are required to reserve as well as a valid credit card. We require a 8 week notice for cancellation. Any cancellation less then 8 weeks will be charged full amount owing unless we fill the cancellation space and then previous deposit will be kept as an administration fee.

We offer clean 1 to 4 bedroom lakefront cottages with 3 piece bathrooms, swimming area, paddleboat, kayaks, a games room in the Lodge (big screen TV, pool table, shuffleboard, pinball machine and rod hockey table) and propane barbeques. Fishing takes place on our main lake (Herridge) with the availability of fishing or exploring any of the 5 remote wilderness lakes where we have boats, motors and gas. Good fishing for Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northerns, Lake Trout and Whitefish.

Temagami, a village which is 6 miles from our Lodge, offers a few restaurants, grocery store, liquor-beer store, tackle and convenience store, a Post Office, One Stop Trading Post and Northland Traders (clothing and souvenirs), a gas station with Subway Sandwiches and Country Style Donuts, a Laundromat and a Home Hardware. Canoe rentals and sightseeing flights are available in Temagami. While in Temagami, visit the fire tower, bring your camera for some fantastic pictures, hike the White Bear Trail or visit the mini golf and skate board park. There is Ambulance Service in Temagami and Hospitals in both New Liskeard and North Bay. Cell phones do work here, depending on the carrier.

There are major shopping centers in New Liskeard (40 miles north) and North Bay (60 miles south) i.e. Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Sears just to name a few. There you will also find McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Kelsey’s and other family chain restaurants. There are golf courses in both New Liskeard and North Bay.

We have hundreds of miles of logging roads suitable for ATV’s and nature viewing (moose, bears, wolves, birds and unspoiled wilderness). Please view the ACTIVITIES link for all that we have to offer year round.
